About Us

Our Mission

We believe students learn better when they understand where they are, what comes next and have the right resources to move forward. Our mission is to make high-quality curriculum learning easier to access, easier to understand and easier to navigate. Ivy combines curriculum, assessment, learning and progress into one connected system, giving students the tools to learn independently and giving parents a clearer picture of how that learning is developing.

Alyx Jordan

Founder, Ivy Maths

Alyx founded Ivy Maths to make high-quality maths education easier to access, understand and use independently. She oversees the direction of the platform, including curriculum structure, learning resources, assessments and the way progress is communicated to students and parents.

Her approach is practical and student-focused: clear explanations, structured progression, meaningful practice and better visibility of what a student understands, where gaps exist and what to study next.

One Framework, Multiple Subjects

Our Brands

Ivy Maths is the first subject platform within the wider Ivy learning system. The same underlying framework is being developed across core academic subjects, allowing each Ivy platform to provide curriculum-led learning, assessment and progress tracking while remaining focused on its individual subject. Alongside them sits Ivy Books, the publishing arm behind the group’s books, guides and independent titles.

Built Around UK Education

The Curriculum

Ivy does not treat learning as a collection of disconnected questions. Each subject is structured around its curriculum, with individual skills connected to the knowledge that comes before and after them. This allows students to move through learning in a way that reflects both their year group and their actual level of understanding, so they can practise at their current level, revisit earlier knowledge when needed and move ahead when they are ready.

Our Custom System

The Ivy Engine

The Ivy Engine is the system behind the Ivy experience. It brings together the UK National Curriculum, learning content, skill relationships, assessments, questions and student responses, connecting them into one complete picture. As students learn and complete assessments, the engine uses that information to understand what they know, where they are making progress, where gaps remain and what should come next. For parents, that complexity is translated into something much simpler: a clear view of progress and practical next steps.
