How to Organise Your Maths Revision
Revision falls apart when it is measured in hours. Measure it in topics and you can watch it working.
In short
List the topics before you plan
You cannot plan revision for a subject you have not broken into pieces.
Give each session one named topic
Chosen before you sit down, so no time goes on choosing.
Put the weakest topics earliest
They need more than one visit, and only early topics get one.
Plan the second visit now
A topic revised once in March has gone by May.
Keep a record of what is done
Ticking topics off is what makes a plan feel finite.
Leave gaps in the plan
A plan with no slack breaks the first day something goes wrong.
