Tell us about the work and we will read it. Submissions are considered on their merits, and we take on a small number of titles at a time.
What to Send
- A short introduction to yourself and to the work.
- A synopsis, or an outline of what the book covers.
- The manuscript, or two or three sample chapters.
- Who you think the book is for.
What Happens Next
- 01 Submit Your Work. Send an outline, manuscript or proposal together with information about the work and its intended audience.
- 02 Editorial Review. The Ivy Books team reviews the submission and determines whether it fits the publishing programme.
- 03 Publishing Plan. For accepted works, agree the editorial, production and publication approach.
- 04 Publication. The work is prepared for release and made available through Ivy Books and relevant distribution channels.
